Duties:

• Greet patients, visitors and vendors as they enter the building and help direct as needed
• Escort individuals to their destination as required
• Round patients and visitors in waiting areas
• Help with a myriad of tasks that will leave patients and visitors with a positive feeling about Palomar UC San Diego Health
• Deliver gift items to patient rooms as required
• Locate wheelchairs for the lobby as needed

Requirements:

• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Maintain the maturity, responsibility and interpersonal skills to interact cordially with patients, staff, volunteers and other customers
• Possess problem-solving skills for their assigned area of responsibility and be able to handle stressful situations
• Maintain patient confidentially at all times

Assignments: 

(All shifts may not be available)

•  Sunday – Saturday: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm
