Understanding the need to leverage the high costs associated with provision of healthcare services throughout the district, Palomar UC San Diego Health has focused on building a coordinated system of care that concentrates technology, expertise and volume in specific locations where high competency can be maintained. As such, we currently have a North County delivery system anchored by two medical center campuses that provide an array of acute care services, obstetrics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, pediatrics and neonatal intensive care.

For those seeking specialized medical care for patients with serious illnesses, our Palliative and Hospice Care team aims to improve the quality of life for you and your family.
Sexual Abuse
Our Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program specializes in forensic medical evaluations and evidentiary examinations for adolescent, adult and geriatric survivors of assault. As a fully functioning, state-of-the-art forensic center, we offer several specialized programs to support comprehensive care.
Wound Care
For patients with non-healing and chronic wounds, our Wound Center offers a specialized, comprehensive approach to state-of-the-art treatment, collaborating with nearly 400 referring providers in the community to address each patient’s overall health.
Community
To improve community health and educate residents, Palomar offers health education classes on a wide variety of topics, from joint replacement to heart health. Community members can also receive free blood pressure, body composition and blood glucose screenings and participate in our influenza vaccination program.
