Duties:

• Act as a liaison between nurses and relatives/friends of patients.
• Assist patients to appropriate destinations.
• Restock supplies and blanket warmers.
• Assist with patient discharges.
• Oversee waiting area including rounding on patients and family members.

Qualifications:

• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Possess the maturity, responsibility and interpersonal skills to interact cordially with patients, staff, volunteers and family members.
• Flexible, stamina and possess problem-solving skills and handle stressful situations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Needs to be mature and a self-starter.
