The emergency department is one of the most crucial, yet dynamic places when it comes to patient care. At Palomar UC San Diego Health, our goal is to reimagine the patient’s experience by providing efficient and effective care. To achieve this, our dedicated staff continue to find new, innovative ways to improve the processes for both patients and internal teams.

For the second year in a row, the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has selected Palomar UC San Diego Health to present at their annual conference. At this conference, emergency professionals from around the world gather to enhance their techniques and find innovative solutions to challenges they may face.

This year, the Poway Emergency Department (ED) team conducted four different presentations at this conference, each focused on their innovative techniques and methods. The Poway ED team’s commitment to collaboration, compassion and excellence in their work this year has enabled them to consistently enhance patient care and maintain the highest standards for the department.
