Duties:
- Distribute information and complimentary gifts to new mothers/families.
- Assist in the transfer and discharge of stable patients by wheelchair.
- Run errands and assist the staff as needed.
- Round on patients and families.
Requirements:
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Possess the maturity, responsibility and interpersonal skills to interact cordially with patients, staff, volunteers and other customers.
- Volunteers must be able to handle stressful situations.
- Volunteers must maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
