Duties:
- Assist the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staff with:
- Answering the phone.
- Restocking.
- Making transfer and admission packets.
- Hold the babies with supervision and direction of the nurses.
Requirements:
- Have volunteered at least 100 hours (preferably in the Birth Center), and have met all qualifications and requirements of the Department Lead for consideration.
- Current with vaccines including COVID, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hep B, Tdap vaccine, and Flu vaccine.
- Able and willing to follow the directions of the nurses.
- Sit/Stand/Walk babies for 15-60 minutes at a time.
- Complete the Baby Cuddling Training program.
Assignments:
(All shifts may not be available)
- Monday – Sunday: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm
