Stations:

Casting & Splinting
Students will practice protecting and supporting fractured or injured bones and joints using common household items.

Stop The Bleed
Students will practice three quick actions to control serious bleeding: applying pressure with hands, applying dressing and pressure and applying a tourniquet.

Science of Blood
Students will learn what components are in blood while doing a hands-on activity making a 3-D model.

AED & CPR
Students will learn when to use an Automated External Defibrillator versus CPR and will practice both techniques on mannequins.

Imaging Waves
Students will learn the fundamentals of the Imaging modalities which utilizes waves within the electromagnetic spectrum (X-ray and Gamma), high-frequency sound waves (Ultrasound) and radio waves (MRI) with hands-on introduction to X-Ray Imaging.
