UPDATED PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING UNCLAIMED MONIES
Pursuant to Government Code Sections 50050 et. seq, the Treasurer of Palomar UC San Diego Health gave notice to the individual(s) listed in the District’s Unclaimed Monies A-Z spreadsheet (posted on July 31st and August 7th in the San Diego Union Tribune) that it was holding, and had held for a period of three or more years, unclaimed money allegedly belonging to said individual(s). All unclaimed monies due to be escheated must have been claimed by September 21, 2024.
Therefore, the unclaimed monies in that spreadsheet became the property of the local agency, Palomar UC San Diego Health. The funds have now been escheated to the District’s General Fund and are no longer available for claiming.
The escheatment process will again occur during the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2025, and a new spreadsheet will be posted sometime between January and March 2025.
