Palomar UC San Diego Health Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs, also known as speech therapists) treat patients for a variety of communication and swallowing problems from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and head and neck cancer.
Our team of SLPs work across the hospital district, working with patients in the hospital, at skilled nursing, at inpatient rehab, and as outpatients. Pediatric therapy services are available at Healthy Development Services and in outpatient. We also have SLPs who are fluent in Spanish.
