Palomar UC San Diego Health Leads the Region in Hand and Wrist Surgery

Targeted Recovery with Specialized Hand Therapy Services
Hand surgeons from around the region refer patients to see one of the many Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) at Palomar UC San Diego Health. All CHTs complete additional advanced training to provide splints and therapies to help restore function and improve quality of life for individuals with hand or arm disease or injury.
At Palomar UC San Diego Health Rehabilitation Services, our CHTs work with physicians and patients to provide a seamless continuum of care. This often starts within days of the injury or surgery, and extends through the patient’s return to work and/or a productive lifestyle.
