About Healthcare Compliance

Healthcare compliance is mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). All healthcare covered entities are required to maintain a compliance program, compliance officer and a code of conduct, all of which are part of the seven core elements of a compliance program. Compliance is designed to proactively prevent fraud, waste and abuse of federal, state and organizational funds.

Palomar UC San Diego Health’s Compliance Program is designed to ensure we adhere to regulations and ethical standards, as well as promote patient safety, patient rights and operational integrity. A part of that is being transparent; therefore, our Compliance Program and Code of Conduct are listed below.

If you have any questions, concerns or need to file a complaint, you can contact the Compliance Department at www.ClearViewConnects.com, Compliance.Officer@PUCSD.org or by phone at 1.800.850.2551 to file a complaint.
